THE TEAM
Mike Lim
Group General Manager
A logical achiever and paragmatic leader when it comes to managing critical issues and crisis. With more than 20 years of construction management and property development experience, Mr. Mike Lim has worked on multiple diversified projects in residential, commercial and industrial segment in Singapore and overseas. He is instrumental in seeing through the completion of the projects and always finding new formula to enhance the efficiency of the project cycles.
As general manager at Amerald Land, he heads the project development team and overseas the group's local and overseas projects. Being a team player, with an eye for details, he leads numerous team of consultants and contractors from the start of the project till completion. He is also involved in the post evaluation of the project. Mr. Lim belives in cost management and streamlined budgeting are the 2 essential factors which contribute to teh success of any project management and financing. He ensures that all projects are completed within budget, on schedule, with uncompromised quality in accordance to authorities' approval.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Chen F.L
Project Director - overseas
Graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Housing, Building & Planning) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Science in Malaysia, Mr. Chen fostered his profession for more than 15 years in the building and construction industry. He was involved in multiple projects across Malaysia and Singapore.
Before joining Amerald Land, Mr. Chen was design and project management Architect in Malaysia overseeing the entire project design phase and managing the project submission and applications. He is involved in several residential and industrial projects. In Singapore, he is appointed as Archi-coordinator by our company parent company, Precise development, to build facilities building (office & support biome) for the Project, Garden by The Bays.
Within a short span of time, with his rich knowledge in the real estate market in Malaysia and smart pragmatic approach to executions, he is promoted to Project Director overseeing the residential and hospitality projects overseas. As a project director, know to have a class of his own in the architectural design, he is tasked to lead several design propositions across South East Asia which includes Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia.
Presently, he is one of the key personnel in the development of multiple real estate projects across Sout East Asia and the group's maiden resort project in the Johor, Malaysia.
Ron Tan
Business Development Director
Mr. Ron Tan is a strong believer in developing all businesses based on trust and integrity. Graduated with a First-Class Honours Engineering Degree, Mr. Tan built his carrer in the real estate industry for more than a decade. Skilled in the financial modeling, he is involved in the company's investments and acquisitions. A strategic planner of the company, he charts the business roadmap and oversees the sales and marketing operations. His managed portfolio includes residential, commercial and hospitality sector across South East Asia.
Mr. Tan is the business development director of Amerald Land. The majority of his portfolio involves developing robust business strategies and evaluate business opportunities in developed countries. Mr. Tan involves in sourcing for deals, conducting feasibility study and investing in real estate projects as well as structuring and negotiating land deals.
During his course of work as a country director (India) with BCA, he was assigned to India for 3 years. Mr. Tan was tasked to facilitate development and market entry of Singapore real estate related firms and promote Singapore as a regional hub for green building technology.
Building on his experince in India and Sout East Asia, particularly Singapore, Mr. Tan participates in selective panel discussion in real estate related topics; sharing his insights in the property trend and market sentiments in the regional countries.
